Amy Gernon is an attorney who helps parties design and administer settlements for complex legal disputes. She is a consensus builder with broad legal experience from the defense, plaintiff, and administrative perspectives. She strives to create efficient processes and procedures to implement parties’ settlement  for the benefit of all stakeholders. 

Amy has been selected by parties to serve as a Claims Administrator and been appointed to serve as a QSF Administrator. She is also a Fellow of the Academy of Court-Appointed Neutrals and a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice.

EXPERIENCE
Amy Gernon has litigated a variety of commercial and intellectual property disputes for more than 20 years. She has specialized experience with multi-district litigation (MDLs), medical monitoring programs, and class action and complex settlements involving pharma and medical devices.

​Amy worked as an attorney at a large Minneapolis defense firm and a boutique litigation firm. She also served as a director and in-house counsel for a legal outsourcing administrator. She was a career law clerk to the Honorable Donovan W. Frank in the District of Minnesota, where she worked exclusively on the Guidant MDL. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard H. Kyle and the Honorable Joan N. Ericksen, both of the District of Minnesota.
